Xander and Leani’s day at Red Ivory Lodge moved from thoughtful details and a treetop ceremony to portraits with the Hartbeespoort landscape behind them. The light changed, the celebrations gathered pace, and their story carried on well after sunset.
01 / The ceremony
A view, a vow, and everyone there to see it.
Family and friends filled the chapel above the valley. We kept close to the expressions, the exchange of rings and the moment Xander and Leani walked out together.
02 / Together
Room for the light to do its work.
The couple shoot moved between open views, quiet close portraits and the last colour in the sky. Leani’s veil caught the light beautifully, giving this part of the story its own sense of movement.
03 / The celebration
And then the night belonged to everyone.
From their entrance and first dance to the energy on the dance floor, the reception brought the day to a joyful close.
