Jamie studied photography in the United States before bringing that discipline home to South Africa. Everything Jamie & Co creates is grounded in experience, gratitude and faith.
What shaped the work
The work is ours to steward. The glory belongs to God.
Jamie’s formal photography studies in the United States established the technical discipline behind the studio: understanding light, directing people with confidence and creating deliberately in difficult conditions.
Jamie & Co is built on Christian faith. We believe creativity is a gift from God, not an achievement we claim alone. Every idea, every remarkable sunset and every opportunity to tell a couple’s story is received with gratitude. We give God all the glory for what we create.
That conviction keeps the studio both ambitious and humble. We prepare carefully, keep refining the craft and serve every couple wholeheartedly—because the gift deserves to be used well.
We do not believe timeless means photographing every wedding the same way.

Our range is our signature. Documentary observation, flattering direction, quiet black and white frames, sunset colour and ambitious night portraiture all belong in one complete story.

Jamie’s ProWed record includes 35 daily, 17 weekly, 10 monthly and four yearly awards. Recognition matters because it confirms the technical and creative standard behind the work. It never matters more than the couple in front of the camera.
