The wedding story
A Cape Winelands wedding where a gathering storm, mountain light and one much-loved red Jeep became part of the story.
Highberry offered photographs in every direction: warm interiors, dark timber, vineyards, mountain lines and an approaching storm that changed the atmosphere minute by minute. Kristoff and Mareli gave us their trust, and we used the place exactly as it unfolded—from quiet preparations and a full-hearted ceremony to portraits built around the landscape, the Jeep and the final light we shaped ourselves.

Chapter one · Before
The story begins in separate rooms.
Shoes, rings and a wedding dress establish the setting. The real narrative is in the people: friends helping Kristoff prepare, the stillness around Mareli, and the expressions that appear before anyone knows they are being photographed.

Chapter two · Together
A ceremony is photographed from the inside, not directed from the outside.
We anticipate the entrance, the exchange of rings and the reactions moving through the guests. Multiple perspectives allow the ceremony to remain uninterrupted while the finished story still feels complete.

Chapter three · The Winelands
The weather did not interrupt the photographs. It authored them.
Dark clouds changed the scale of the landscape. We balanced the mountain light, architecture and vineyards around Kristoff and Mareli, then used the red Jeep and shaped light to create portraits that could only belong to their day.

What remains
What remains is a wedding album with range: softness and weather, family and landscape, honest reactions and portraits created with intention.
