Dumi & Karabo
Makiti Wedding Venue
The wedding story
From the first quiet moments to the last dance.
Dumi and Karabo’s wedding at Makiti moved from soft pink details and a ceremony surrounded by family and friends to portraits in the gardens and a remarkable sunset. As the light faded, the celebration continued under the venue’s soaring timber roof.

Chapter one · The beginning
The day began with the people and details closest to them.
Pink flowers, a carefully prepared room and the familiar hands helping Karabo get ready set the tone before everyone gathered for the ceremony.

Chapter two · Together
Once the vows were said, the day opened up.
There was confetti, a crowd of familiar faces and space to step away for a while. The portraits became a pause in the middle of it all.

Chapter three · Just the two of them
The light gave us one more story to tell.
We followed Dumi and Karabo from the gardens into the last light. Their portraits move from laughter and closeness to silhouettes against the sunset.

Chapter four · After dark
Then the music took over.
Inside Makiti, the reception filled with movement, speeches and dancing. We stepped outside for one last night portrait, then returned to the people celebrating with them.

What remains
A day of close moments, bright joy and portraits that followed the light all the way into evening.
